All About Multicultural Children’s Book Day
Children’s reading and play advocates Valarie Budayr from Jump Into a Book and Mia Wenjen from PragmaticMom have teamed up to create an ambitious — and much needed — national event. Multicultural Children’s Book Day is a way of celebrating diversity in children’s books. Multicultural Children’s Book Day project manager Becky Flansburg joins them to talk about the nonprofit’s free diversity book programs, Classroom Kits, and diversity children’s book resources. They will also cover how they generate 1 BILLION social media share impressions per day for their diversity children’s book event!
