A note on the book sale and signing part of the conference

At the end of the day on both Friday and Saturday, from 4-6, we’ll have a local bookstore (Barrington Books; contact info. below) selling the books of authors in attendance.  This will be open to the public at no charge.  Historically, Kidlitcon has had only the books by authors and illustrators presenting at the conference available.  This year will be a bit different; if you are an author or illustrator of a traditionally published book,  and you plan to attend the conference, you are welcome to contact Barrington Books (I’ve checked with them, and they’re cool with it) and ask them to bring yours to sell too, and we’ll offer you space in the Ballroom of Book Signing alongside the authors and illustrators speaking at the conference.  If you are a self-published author, you are welcome to bring your own books to sell, and you also can have space in the ballroom.  (nb–this offer is only available to folks registered for the conference, which you can do here).

The person to contact is:

Katie Rendine
Business Development & Event Coordinator

Barrington Books – 184 County Road – Barrington, RI 02806 – 401.245.7925
Barrington Books Retold – 176 Hillside Road – Cranston, RI 02920 – 401.432.7222

I’ll be putting up a post any day now to promote the book sale and signing part to the public, so let me (charlotteslibrary@gmail.com)  know if you’re coming and are going to be part of the selling and signing, so I can update the list as necessary and make a name-sign for your spot!  And also please let me know if you have any questions.  Thank you!
